Bathtub Refinish Warranty
We provide a 5 year warranty on all of our bathtub refinishes, unless otherwise noted. This warranty includes the product itself, as well as application. The following things are covered by the warranty;
- Product adhesion to the tub
- Runs, defects, rough spots, or other application failures
- Incorrect product
The following things are not covered by the warranty;
- Peeling or coating failure caused by water penetration of the surface after impact damage
- Stains and etching
- Product failure or surface defects in areas where there have been leaky faucets, suction cup mats, non-slip stickers, soap bottles or other items sitting on the tub
- Impact damage, peeling, or removal of the finish by outside factors
If an adhesion issue, application failure, rough spot, or separation occurs, report the problem to us as soon as possible to prevent the damage spreading further. If the problem goes unreported for an extended period of time to the point it begins ruining the integrity of the coating, your warranty may be voided entirely.
We ask you send documentation issues with pictures with a coin, ruler, finger, or other recognizable frame of reference for size next to the area, or some other indication of size such as a measurement with a request for service via our contact form.
If you are not present, we ask you are reachable, so you will always be kept up to date on any changes that occur to the scope of work or scheduling. There may be additional charges associated with warranty work that would otherwise be free.
Bathtub Refinish Care Guide
Surfaces are ready for use 24 hours after we finish applying our coatings, unless otherwise noted.
During the first week, do not use cleaners or let objects sit on the surface for long periods of time to allow for optimal curing.
Though any standard non-abrasive bathroom or kitchen cleaners are fine to use over our surface treatments, we recommend a blend of 50% water and 50% vinegar, with a little dish soap mixed in as a general cleaning solution. Apply cleaner and wipe, let soak no more than 2 minutes, rinse, then wipe down with microfiber towels.
Magic erasers are also very effective for buildup and grime.
Every 3 to 4 months, you may apply automotive wax with a microfiber towel according to the manufacturers instructions after cleaning for enhanced durability, prolonged life, and easier maintenance.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or limescale removers, or let any cleaners soak for longer than 2 minutes on the surface. Always rinse any cleaners immediately.
If your faucet develops a leak, it should be repaired as quickly as possible, and either plugged, or a bucket placed under to collect the dripping water and dumped down the drain until repaired. Leaking faucets are one of the fastest ways to ruin a coating.
Suction cup mats and non-slip stickers should not be used in refinished tubs under any circumstances. Use of either will cause rapid deterioration of the coating, and will void your warranty.
If work is going to be done above the bathtub, such as tile work, caulking, painting, or hardware replacement, placing a large piece of cardboard on the bottom of the tub, and using a drop cloth or paper or plastic masking to protect the tub will protect the tub from damage from dropping things or paint or chemicals damaging the coating.
Be mindful of the suggestions listed in this care guide when cleaning surfaces above the tub.
Pet claws can damage the coating, and negate your warranty. If you use the tub to wash your pet, lay a towel on the bottom of the tub before putting them in.
Childrens toys with sharp corners can chip the coating and negate your warranty. We recommend getting soft toys like soft balls or foam toys, toys with rounded edges, and light toys that can't be hit with a lot of force into the tub as to cause damage.

- Scratches, burn marks, or other damage caused by improper usage of the surface
Refinished countertops, like traditional surfaces, are not meant to be used as a cutting board, or to set hot pans and pots on. Always use cutting boards, and do not set hot pots or pans directly on the surface, or your warranty may be voided entirely.

Surfaces are ready for use 48 hours after we finish applying our coatings, unless otherwise noted.

Cutting food directly on the surface, and placing hot pots and pans can chip, scratch, damage, burn, blister, or melt the coating and negate your warranty. Always use a cutting board, and place something between hot pans and pots and the surface directly.
Every 2 to 3 months, apply automotive wax with a microfiber towel according to the manufacturers instructions after cleaning for enhanced durability, prolonged life, and easier maintenance.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or limescale removers, or let any cleaners soak for longer than 2 minutes on a refinished countertop. Always rinse any cleaners off the surface immediately.
We highly recommend not letting anything sit on the surface where water may get on the surface, as water can pool around resting items and create rings or etching.
Soap, food, drinks, hair dye, and other chemicals should be rinsed off the surface as soon as quickly as possible, as letting them sit on the surface can cause stains or etching.

Microcement Warranty
